EUROITV 2005
3rd European Conference on Interactive Television:
User Centred ITV
Systems, Programmes and Applications Aalborg University, Denmark,
Wednesday
March 30 – Friday April 1 2005
Following on from the successful EuroITV 2003 and EuroITV 2004, this
conference on production and consumption of interactive television and cross
media usage and development will bring together ITV developers, HCI
practitioners, market researchers, academics and industry researchers to share
their experiences and knowledge. It will be an excellent opportunity to explore
the research issues raised by interactive television in a wide range of domains,
e.g., entertainment, games, commerce, health, and education. We welcome
delegates from all areas of academia, the TV industry and user
organizations.
Now in its 3rd year, this European conference is becoming a well-respected
event dedicated to the research, developments and applications related to
interactive television. EuroITV started in 2003, had a successful second
convocation in Brighton last year, and looks to be a permanent forum for
emerging ITV issues. It is slanted towards addressing the concerns of ITV
applications and issues as opposed to strictly formal technical topics.
The general format for the conference will have keynote addresses focusing on
practical, future challenges, invited speakers talking about the immediate
issues to be faced in each of the major conference threads they represent; and
tutorials, full papers, short papers, and posters, all giving an excellent
picture of current advanced practice in the variety of application areas of
concern.
