About the Conference
Following on from the successful EuroITV 2003 and EuroITV 2004 we are pleased
to welcome you to EuroITV 2005 March 30 to April 1. We can offer you a full day
with tutorials and a fair, and/or two days with highly current seminar sessions
and workshops and continuation of the fair.
Tutorials
At the conference, there will be four tutorial sessions lasting 2-3 hours
each. The sessions will be run by practitioners for academics and professionals.
The tutorials contain input from various genres including Nordjyske Medier (a
local media house) which has a unique way of organizing the multi media
productions and distributions. Also, there will be input from the international
media expert, Aske Dam, who spends much of his time travelling between the
Nordic countries and Japan to gain insight and exchange and share knowledge with
the new media industry. All four tutorial sessions will be held on Wednesday,
March 30, 2005.
Seminar
The seminar sessions of the conference will include contributions from ca. 30
academics as far away as Malaysia, Pakistan, Estonia, Spain, Great Britain and
many other destinations. There will be rich opportunities for interesting
discussions and debates of issues such as the relation between technology and
the user, and this will be highly prioritized at this part of the conference. In
addition to the academics’ paper presentations; there will be the opportunity to
listen to internationally recognized and reputable keynote speakers. The seminar
will take place Thursday, March 31, 2005 and Friday, April 1, 2005.
Networking
The conference will offer you networking with professionals and academics in
the field of your interest. As part of the conference programme, Euro ITV 2005
